A plain walk-through of our funding partner's process: what you send, what gets reviewed and how to judge the offer before you sign.

Your bank statements tell Merchant Fund Express most of what it needs. This page shows how the review runs from start to finish.

*Sample amounts shown. Your actual offer depends on your business and is reviewed before approval.
Starting an application does not touch your credit score. It simply opens the review.
About three months of business statements, ID and a voided check cover most files.
Every offer spells out the amount, the payment schedule and the total repayment before you sign.
Complete files can move fast. Qualified businesses can be funded in as little as 24 hours.
Owners who work with us on credit often ask the same thing: "Can I get funding now, or do I have to wait?" With Merchant Fund Express, you do not have to wait for credit work to finish. The review is built mostly around your business deposits. Here is what to expect.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Start the form | Our funding application takes about five minutes and is sent to Merchant Fund Express. |
| Upload statements | Three full months of business bank statements, downloaded as PDFs from your bank. |
| Answer follow-ups | If something on a statement needs context, like a large transfer, you will be asked about it. |
| Compare the terms | The written offer shows what you receive, what you repay and when payments come out. |
| Sign and fund | Once you accept, qualified businesses can be funded in as little as 24 hours. |
| Document | What to send | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Business bank statements | Three full months, every page | The main thing the review reads |
| Recent activity | Month-to-date if past the 15th | Confirms the current month |
| Owner ID | Government photo ID | Identity check |
| Voided check | Business account | For the deposit |
| Existing payments | Balance and payment of any advance or loan | So a new payment fits |
Use the same legal business name on everything, include every page of each statement, and list any current advances honestly. Missing pages are the most common reason a file slows down.
Write down the total you will repay and divide it by the amount you receive. That tells you what the money costs. Next, compare the payment with a normal week of deposits and a slow week. A good offer leaves the slow week covered. If it does not, ask about a smaller amount. You can say no at any point before signing.
Merchant Fund Express works with established businesses, generally doing $60K or more a month, and considers FICO 500 and up. Sole proprietors can apply.
Credit repair and business funding are separate services. Credit repair is not required to apply, funding does not improve a credit score, and every offer is subject to Merchant Fund Express's review. Learn more about our funding partner or read how business funding works.
